About Your Teacher:
I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, and I have lived in Salt Lake City for four years now. I love Utah, and I am very excited to be working at Pioneer.
I am especially looking forward to teaching in a diverse school, where I can use my strengths of adapting lessons to different learning styles and abilities. I like to create a positive classroom environment that allows every child’s strengths to be used as an asset to the learning process.
I build on the background knowledge and interests of the students I am teaching in order to motivate them. I think it is important to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and to realize that there is always more to learn. I have high expectations for my students, and I love to challenge them in any way that I can.
